PSG Learning is actively looking for an author to revise Shackelford’s Fire Behavior and Combustion Processes.  For individuals with expertise in this area who are interesting in authoring opportunities, please send your CV alongside a writing sample to Laura Carney at [email protected].  If a writing sample is not available, a Lesson Plan illustrating how you cover these topics with students is also sufficient.  For those who are not interested in authoring but would like to provide feedback on this product to help inform a new edition, please reach out to Laura Carney indicating your interest in reviewing.

Following-up on the brief query introduction at the last CFTDA meeting, State Fire Training is seeking input from our ARTP partners regarding the CAL FIRE Basic Fire Academy (BFA) availability and delivery in your regions. SFT is working closely with CAL FIRE agency to identify training access opportunities for students statewide. Your participation and input to the continued growth of this program is invaluable.
