Key points in this letter from CARB:
- Low Usage Vehicles must be operated less than 1,000 miles or 50 hours per year, based on a five-year rolling mileage or engine-hour average.
- Mileage is “averaged” over 5 year spans
- There is a requirement that we log the annual hours but there is no reporting requirement necessary to CARB
